Flaked

Your heart bleeds 'til it runs dry/

At times it's deceiving to the eye.

You ride your high horse as you dig your grave/

You can't face the truth because you are a slave.

You know the cure but the system's in shock/

You have the key but you can't open the lock.

You are burning at the stake/

It proves again your double mind is flaked.

The systems m.o. is to drain where you lack/

You find yourself on the flat of your back.

You know of resources outside of your phase/

but your mind is infected by the recurring haze.

Are you back down on your knees for the very last time?/

You can't quit the game until you make up your mind!

You often find that the only way you

know/

is paved with pain because

we all reap what we sow.
