Sealed

by MessageintheSky

White bandages draped confidently across red lines, Tasting copper-red shame and dressing the pain in lovely woven care. Guilty pleasures combat the guilt of giving in to the rush Blood pounding in my head that demanded to be seen, Convinced me that I wanted to feel what I could see Wait, no, see what I could feel? I let the silver bite, so quick! Forgetting remembers that the pain never forgets to remind you of what's real. The white bandages lay draped confidently over fading red lines She wrapped them gently, handled with care, sealed with a kiss, Reminded the pain to coexist.
