Ceramic

by @icouldimagine

As the mud hid your secrets, You pressed on with vehement anger. Decades were molded into your container, While fire hardened your ceramic. You glazed this product in a sparkling finish, Painted it with the right words, Careful not to ruffle feathers, You couldn't handle it. It is too heavy, but it is a memento, Sentimental. Symbolising every statement that only serves to Confirm and justify Your behaviour. And I stared on, my heart growing colder by its hostile design, Using it as inspiration to form mine.
