THE THAWING

Ariel surveillance

The dust

Finally settled

In it’s place of calm

Scoreboards

All ZEROS

Stationary Lyrics

No MORE

Hammer heads

In step with harmony

Collapsing egress

To be

Or NOT TO BE

Attention spans

Drastically clearer

I’ve dissected

Enough of my

Own life’s drama’s

My truest friends

I can count on one hand

My foes are far to many

To truly offend

Why bother

It’s the acquaintances

That I’m leery of

It really doesn’t

Matter who or what I used to

Hide behind

Business as usual

Caravans

Of dramatic flares

I no longer

Subscribe to the

Antics of the old me

Additions minus

The subtractions I get it

Happy go getter

From a distance

Sky beats more

My groove

Cleats dug in

Solitary confinement

I’ve been released

A Deep freeze

Eases to room temperature

Warning flags

Now at half mass

Trying to please

Your own conscious difficult

Dilemmas

Roam in musty winds

Y’all can have them

Hashing

Out my own struggles

We came to a truce

Appeaser

To the dramatic

Wildfires

Reducing the humidity

Evidently worked

Dramatics don’t sear anymore

Identical behaviors

I emptied

Out my syringe

And turned down the

Temperature

Reverse engineering

Finding a reasonable balance

Not a kosher as you’d think

The thawing came

With A astronomical price tag

Only I could afford

With every fiber of my being

Holding on to the

Only thing that matters

To me MOST

What little of myself

I still had left

MY FAITH IS MY PUREST GUIDE

An eye in the sky

Like no other
