Dec 2013
From across the room he spotted her
For a brief second there was uncomfortable eye contact
Both from him & her
Somehow it turned to flustered pink cheeks
And puppet strings pulling her lips
Into this mischievous smile
He played scenes in his head
Planning what he would say
Unfortunately he did not seize the day
And she walked away
