Cinderstave

by @Joshua-Dairy-Fray

The cool of the night Away in a breath Upon sacred soil Anathema stands Souls of ancestors Freed by ifrit Soar to the heavens With embers as wings The Cooling mist The mystic fog Infused with smoke Cleansing the soul Fragile sacrament Of the opposed From the dark of night Daylight explodes Glow through the night Stoked til dawn The blaze recedes But embers burn Just charred relics Skeletal remains Blackened by soot Collapse looming Ash in the wind Stirs hitherto Then all is serene Hushed and gloom When from below A cry of lament For abomination Finally Condemned Scorched from this earth Erased from This plane Destiny fulfilled It's Cinderstave
