April arrives as a sweet scent
in the brushing air,
reminding us,was life ever fair?
Fleeting joy,
sunlight hugs, warmth lingers,
but not for long,
heartbroken flower buds shiver.
The sun melts into the ocean,
like snowflakes never chosen, invisible,
Snowflakes are invisible
Melts away in a house of warmth ,never eligible to stay
New leaves get drenched,
hoping to feel alive again
don’t they know,
pain often comes as rain?
Thunder echoes,a cry in chains
December never truly left,
April lingers, love unkept.
Not every flower gets to bloom,
some sit quietly in a darkened room.
where sunlight is forever late,
stopped by the broken door of fate.
Unopened windows die there
April is here,
but warmth is never near.
