Never after you

They say, if only you had found someone to lean on

What did I really need, if only I had you beside me

I set out on this path hoping I might find someone dear

Or perhaps a wanderer, escaped from their homeland, might appear

It was never possible to find someone again after you

How could a shore be found in the middle of an endless sea
