Slowly I opened my eyes
Sun beaming in through your curtains oh so shy
There you layed sleeping peacefully
No worries on your shoulders
It was morning bliss seeing you so alive and at peace
Sun kissing your skin
Blankets hugging you tight
Pillow holding your secrets
Mattress holding everything about you together
Slowly you open your eyes
You notice the sun kissing my skin
You notice the blankets hugging me tight
You notice the pillows holding my secrets
You notice the mattress holding everything about me together
And you gently wrap your arms hugging me tight
Gently pull me next to you to hold me together
Gently lay my head on your chest to hold my secrets
The sun is no longer kissing my skin
Your lips gently kiss my skin
And say
NO
You are mine
