Obedience

Heart full yet it bleeds

Stomach full yet it eats

In vain, it pleads

To be down on its knees

For wishing is done with ease

For crying is done to please

Convinced death is near

It seemed to manifest fear

In pain, it pleads

To be reduced to an object

For the pen hasn’t wept

For the chair is well-kept
