Daydreams galore

When I dream, there is nothing

But I daydream when the sun shines

When the window burns me

As I peak the outstretched land

I’m 3 steps removed always

Staring back at myself

With vengeance and yearning

Like I’m my own daughter

Cold water on the skin

Barefoot on stone floors

Music playing on loop

I dream of a simple life
