The Evidence

I love you—

Though my love leaves no fingerprints,

No letters, no declarations, no grand gestures.

And you—

You search for proof of its opposite,

And find it,

Every single day.

This poem explores the quiet ache of loving in ways that go unnoticed—where affection lives in small, unspoken gestures while the beloved searches only for grand declarations. It speaks to the loneliness of being loved invisibly and the heartbreak of having one's devotion measured by what it lacks rather than what it quietly offers.
