Dream

Standing beneath the rainy season,

Weak, cold, and bleak, flickering in place,

Every drop touched my fractured body,

Closing my eyes and waiting for the last embrace.

Waking up from a dream, it felt so real and true,

I felt so cold and wet, my skin so pale,

When I looked back, I saw my body lying,

A cascade of tears fell in a trail.
