Smile and Nod

Smile and Nod,

Smile and Nod,

Acting like I'm okay,

Even when I know I'm not

Even when I'm in despair,

the fake smile will always be there

You can't possibly convince me

That I am imagining every glare

Smile and nod,

smile and nod

Act how they want me to

I can't break

In front of the cameras,

Or the crowds

So I just pretend,

Pretend I don't care,

Pretend I'm so happy,

What the hell is despair,

Who am I even talking to,

Nobodies there
