by HannahChristina

There will be a time when even if an angel appeared-- messenger of heaven, robes of white pooling on your bathroom floor--you would not be comforted. It would not take to your chest as a sweet, cooling balm to open the lungs and sooth the throat. It would not appease but it would shake your airways with a wild, rattling cry for every appearance of God or of Miracles would do nothing but render pain. God may send an angel nonetheless.
