you could have slowed waited let the dust settle before you demanded wanted whined i wasn't a possession i wasn't a prize to covet i was in pain and i suppose that might have been awfully inconvenient couldn't love you the way you wanted so you left in silence like it wasn't the dust of your impulsive impatience settling on me like fiberglass like concrete
