UNWINDING

Comes a wind

That can’t be ridden

Comes a storm

That can’t be breached.

The unwinding of our time

Is picking up abysmal speed

And we can only stand aside

And blankly watch as it unfurls

While writing words of

Indecision on the walls

And waiting for the

Others to stand bravely forth

And fabricate escapes for we

Who don’t deserve tomorrows
