waiting to die
wanting?
they conspire
in dark corners
to eradicate themselves

look at the corpses
praying for sleep

look at the corpses

in the sunlight
shooting up to
the stars
only to come home
to an empty reality
sin spread out
across the species
watch them jump
toward the grave
watch! watch!
the corpses
waiting to die

a flash of lightning
a quick curiosity
until they burns themselves
out to the nothingness
