Grumpy old guy

As I grow older I come to realize I need fewer and Fewer friends No need for false Congratulations on A life well lived Or quires into How I've been No false narratives On my latest trip No ugly report About my ex. Those light conversations That carry no weight The gossip of others At one of our wakes An elbow in the ribs The nod of the head Signaling that my newest girlfriend Must be awesome in bed I know my accolades Where I've excelled Those who have known me Have known me well All the others can Go to hell
