migratory animals

'obstacles' by syd matters plays in the background

she'd be able to find me hidden in any waterfall

just by the sound of the water droplets

that leave my soaked hair and hit the ground

if we met when we were younger

i think she and i would lead armies

conquer innocent fears

and face the multi-headed dragon of life

i used to tell white lies only in her presence

i'd jokingly smile after

informing her that this was a quite ridiculous lie

she would laugh and give me a side-eye look, because i'd made her complacent

and then blushed slightly

because we were in front of others

and creating a secret is an intimate thing
