The debt we all owe

they proclaim power over our lives

is their god given rights

they're never wrong you see

when they're taking who we used to be

draining out identity to a pulp

whilst all we do is gulp

our fear means nothing to them

except that they have control

we own nothing alone

yet all we do is groan

about this capitalist system

that takes all that it can from masses

delivering it to the few who wait

arms open wide

we have nothing but owe them everything.
