Whispers of Wisdom

Close your ears to echoes, he said.

Youth shines with sharp, untamed edges.

Some elders carry brittle, hollow shells

wisdom isn’t born of mere wrinkles.

Money buys faces that vanish by dusk,

beauty’s admirers fade like fleeting smoke.

But character? A hand that steadies storms,

a lighthouse glowing through endless night.
