Never did I adore
The euphemisms that conceal words
That aren’t to be taken too lightly
Never did I fancy
The hidden meanings of a poetry
that lie behind well-written allegories
But like always, I digress.
Even if the words don’t rhyme
And stanzas break thru uneven lines
These innate inhibitions
I will gladly express
Cause baby, you deserve better
Than these clandestine feelings
And one day, the facade I built
Through flawless sentences
You will understand
Or at least I hope.
