The Hammer of God

Hands in pockets are cold & shriveled

Red fingers present themselves

From behind layers of clothing

Shaking begins to intensify

Slowly turning a full stark white

As a ghost passing through eternal flight

Tinged wit, surrendering my will over

As the cold digs further into my skin-

everlasting confusion & lament

resounds

The unrelenting breeze surrounds me

A phantoming pioneer challenges my

soul's source of curiousity

Smashing through the brick walls

The Hammer of God is flattening the

screws that keep on creeping up
