mum, don't sell the house

by lunartales

mum, can i take back what i said years ago, with tears in my eyes could i alter my words, my dreams? and tell you that you were right all along mum, i don't know what i'm doing here i'm running around chasing my tail between my legs everything seems so much bigger than me and i can only chew so much i'm so far away and i'm scared what if i get on the wrong train and never be seen again? what if i get in the wrong room and never be seen again? what if i take the wrong turn and never be seen again? mum, i can't make all these decisions could i turn back the clock and go back to when i couldn't even reach the counter? and when the time comes, will you let me sleep in my bedroom? mum, don't sell the house let me stay in my bed when the demolition team comes to knock it all down.
