Where There Be Dragons

Where there be dragons, long ago, in seas that hide abyss below.

Cartographers of yore did warn, cartographers with lore and yarn.

Spinning tales of Wurms and Wyverns, unnerving those who push horizons.

And still their numbers grew.

All for one, or one for all, we set sail for those gaping maws.

And mapped the oceans blue.

Wherever there be dragons, human beings aren't far behind.

Now our ships are called Apollo, the abyss our space and time.

So unless we find reptilians, or apocalyptic hell.

Our science doesn't lie. The last great dragon is ourselves.
