The Grey Prelude

Dark silhouettes

Swarming the sky

The once gentle home

Overcome by their cries

A grey shroud accumulates

Poisoning the feigned blue

Reverting to dullness

The earth's prelude

Shadows flicker

Hearts begin to race

A pounding

A fluttering -

A symphony is made

Dark silhouettes

Swarming the sky

Time passing slowly...
