For You

I will never make my mark

I'll always be left in the dark

Then you brought me light

In this everlasting night

You offered me your hand

As we stepped onto the sand

I looked into your eyes

Knowing you would never tell me any lies

I started at the screen

Knowing it was just a dream

I wished I could meet you in life

As I chop vegetables with a knife

Okay the last line that was the only thing I could figure out to put there so don't judge and this is for someone who I care deeply about
