Forbidden Gardens

Diving in the poisons,

Lured by artificial heavens,

A foggy mind sought clearance,

Striving to witness the world

In its sheerest, purest reality,

But a ghost could only wander,

Touring ruins that once held passions.

Engulfed in eternal dusks,

The zenith's a blurred thought,

For a hopeless dreamer,

With an out-of-sync heart,

Still longing for the chirps,

Of its special dove.

Frantic ojitos, confused brain,

Sweet illusions seem appealing,

As I prepare to visit again

The beckoning alleys

Of forbidden gardens.
