Do Not Save Me

Is it true that pain is all that waits in loving you?
 Then give me bane. Give me rue. 
Let me crave the touch that stains my soul in shades of blue.
 To be tamed, the beast wiped raw and left to brew. Is this the cost of loving you? Then I beg for torment, I beg conviction.
Anything that leads me to you, my sweet affliction. With every step I’ll strain, to the depths I’ll plunge.
 I’ll bear every pain, until the last breath leaves my lungs. I do not ask to be spared I ask for you My stain My love My undo
