Winter of my dreams

Dreams come back

haunting the winter

of my sleep

I am losing interest in

all that I keep

There's no better ride

as I glide into oblivion

My tapestry is complete

Let it cover the eyes of those forsaken and the weak .

I am a one man marching band

as the crowds line the streets

Who ? They look at each other in disbelief

I was once a nobody's need

The phone rang out only in greed

The vultures of despair

sit on a fence asking what , when and where .

Til all of my darkness goes

not even I know

The snow covers

the earthen wombs

dedicated shelters

full of empty tombs

waitinjg to be served
