No wishing for more wishes

There are times

I wish

for wishes

just to wish

it all away

for the thoughts,

memories, and feelings

refuse to stay put away.

Maybe a Jinn could help

or maybe gin could too

but then I wouldn’t be me

and you just wouldn’t be you.
