Yesterday's Calling

Yesterday's callin' me

where do I go from here

on this long dark stretch of night.

On this raging sea

overcome by fear

all I wanna see is the light

shining down on me.

Tomorrow's drawing me

reflections of what I've seen

getting closer to the dawn.

The echoes of history

brought me to where

I've been.

The tears and pain never

seem gone

but they're slowly drawn

out of me.

Now I'm turning from yesterday.

Please come and take me away!

I'll see more than I'm seeing today, yeah

Love and peace pour within me each day.

Well, I've been in the cage

of my past for so long

drowning in motionless flood;

but the only one that I wanna see

parts the waves and sets me free.

Now I'm turning from yesterday.

Please come and take me away!

I'll see more than I'm seeing today, yeah

Love and peace

Love and peace

doses of love and peace

are poured within me each day!!!
