Nature Always Wins Though

The war between nature and nurture

is always so dreadful.

I am angry.

I know what I could become'

but I was raised better than my rage.

I have potential.

Alas! I was taught retraint instead of growth,

I was raised to hold back,

To saty within limits.

I was reared instead

of being taken care of.

Nature vs Nurture either way, isn't it our parents fault?

We are merely a reflection of them.
