my sweet Mimosa

whisper it again, carry it along the breeze

the words you've used on me, spellings,

hexings, wizardry -- with your voice, sweep the ocean floor:

sweet,

let that sink to the ocean floor,

sweet

sweet sweet

sweet

let that tumble along the ocean floor,

sweet sweet sweet

now say, say my name again:

Mimosa,

sustain the notes in the salt-gale,

fleeced in astronomical dawn

Mimosa ! Mi Mo Sa !

sweet

Mimosa ... swoon,

croon, I am dissolving when you say,

I throw my head back when you say:

my sweet Mimosa !
