Dangerous Times

by scarlet-mccall

I’m not a fool, I’m not a sap-- I won’t download your fucking app. I have a ‘puter, with a wired connection, a VPN, and some discretion. I don’t want to be tracked wherever I go. What I do, and with whom, I don’t want you to know. I’ve got encrypted email, and Signal text because I’m not sure what you’ll do next. I browse the net with Duck Duck Go, ‘cuz Google tracks wherever you go. I don’t put my face on social media cuz who knows what encyclopedia or blacklist, I’ll be listed on. Don’t take the same route at the same time of day. Be careful who’s listening to what you say. Don’t open the door to those you don’t know. Close the shades at night, and lock the doors. Do these things as a matter of course.
