Light Returns

LIGHT RETURNS

In the darkest of times,

when all hope seems lost

when we are afraid,

in pain,

suffering

if we can hang on

and believe

just a little while longer,

the light will shine once again.

It always has.

That’s the way of the universe:

light always wins

over darkness.

It may take time.

It may take suffering.

But in the end,

light will return

bright

and healing.
