All the Monkeys Here

dora, where are you now?

I need you to teach me

how to cross the river

without calculating

the efficiency of my steps.

all the monkeys here

kiss each other on schedule,

check their task lists—

performance reviews

disguised as love.

do you wanna explore with me?

not to reach a destination,

not to complete a map—

just to see what's there.

tell me:

how were humans before tasks?

before we measured everything,

even wonder?
