Empty minds
Broken goals
And lost souls

Teens stuck in homes so cold
With parents so cruel
With lives so short

These teens?
Their true emotions never seen.
They hide them

The hide them away underneath
What they do
Or What they say

Drugs?
Possibly their bestfriends
Violence?
They all resort to it in the end.

For the rest of us though..
Who are we?
We go to class
No matter how lame we seem.

Why does everyone assume that the rest of us are happy?
Since we aren't in broken homes
Or hearts should shine like 100 suns
And all of our lives should be so fun.

Sadly all of us are the lost ones
From the idiots with blunts & guns
To the nerds who's hearts are shunned
