Between the Stars

Do you feel inspired?

While we whisper late at night?

Stars floating all around us,

Just the universe, you, and I.

Your words bouncing off constellations–

Like a large connect the dot,

Visually cosmic beauty,

Straight from your inner thoughts.

I wish we could float here

For a little century or two,

Unraveling universal woes

And fixing them, just me and you.
