winter daydream

The sun did never shine so bright

nor did the cloudtops look so light

I see deer walk in the clearing

in my winter daydream

by my island rock stream

and in front of me were blackberries

and on my side there was a fairy

who wore a blazing scarlet cap

and wore two earrings in the flap.

in my winter daydream

by my island rock stream
