Time

Time is that simple thing that never ends

Always continuing on forever

Although there are wounds it may never mend

The pains of them we simply must weather

Time is something that you can never control

Time doesn't stop for you nor will it wait

The effects of time always take their toll

The time you once did love you'll one day hate

Time's everlasting, nothing is older

It remembers our triumphs, failures, tears

It remembers times when we were bolder

It kept us company while facing fears

Time I did once love thee without a care

But now you don't matter, you're hardly there
