West of Love

by anecandu

Sometimes I miss the eyes that dont shirk. Glossy Bronze in the light as you work. Full of determination and fight. Angelic in your cape of white. In that minute you see me. My most Kryptonic state laid bare. Probing my Iife with the sterile tools, Picking me apart as I overshare. I miss your big smile hovering, Glistening over my dome. The grill of an international chrome. Behind my eyes we are alone. I know it's always genuine for me. Luegieing all the worlds good luck. Photosynthesing platonically. Absorbing all your positivity. It warms my coldness from outside. Sometimes I forget and we are on the Blue Mountain ride. As you forage in my mouth. For treasures I hide, Bluberries. Small but an instant sweetness. Tugging free the buts. Polishing away weakness. Coating protecting my fickle meekness. Then BAM suddenly were done. I stand alone behind door 🚪 number 21. The Matrix operator voice over. Confirms my station. West of your heart is my locaton.
