we stopped searching

we

stopped searching

for meaning

& things

finally

started

meaning

something

the water

tasted

like water

again

the day

had its own

temperature

&

even silence

came

back

with

a

voice

/ turns out:

you don’t need answers

to live

correctly

just

one

moment

that

doesn’t

ask you

to explain

your

self /

we didn’t

find meaning

we

just stopped

pretending

(there was

none)

/ turns out:

the world works

better

when

nothing

needs

approval /

we laughed

at the dark

ness

& it—

stepped

aside

as if

embarrassed

to explain

it

self

life

isn’t asking

for answers,

just

for presence

loud

enough

to be

heard

with

out

volume

&

the vessel

holds

it

all:

the simple taste

of water

the quiet shame

of the dark

the moment

that

doesn’t

ask

this

un

explained

still

ness—

the only

correct

way:

a full breath

of being

that needs

no applause

just

space

to finally

mean

what it

already

is.
