You said you loved me

by August2144

We were probably too young to be in love But you said it anyways I had questions But you kissed me anyways You looked at me as if I painted the sky I stole your hoodie and called it mine So then you grabbed me and did the same I had questions But you held me anyways You looked at me as if I was the universe You left over summer, I wrote you everyday Small responses or just reactions I had questions But you left me anyways You look at her as if she's God

I wrote this a bit after the guy who said he loved me broke up with me because we "weren't gonna work out" and then said that I was "strong enough that I wouldn't let it break me"
