Poems
Nov 2013
freedom
alone in a sunny town;
jump the fence, now obsolete.
feel;
the wind, the sun against
the sweat
that trembles as it streaks down
the nape
of your neck.
dry mouth,
flushed cheeks,
tangled hair,
the symptoms of electrified veins.
from cold feet
to burnt-asphalt heels,
from north east
to south west
for the hell of it.
