Taking some time to think and sit
When all the world is in a fit
I came out today to soak up the sun
******* my feet, their cages came undone
I sat in the cool grass letting the time pass
Winter is nearly over and
The snow no longer blankets the earth
But a clover blanket lasts
The birds today are busy, but so is the grass
This singular blade so still and quiet
Working, taking in the sun
A creation all too unsung
This photosynthetic piece of wonder
Without you, my life would be asunder
