Echo

by lthatguyl

When the sea starts to rise again, I shall cast my sails never to be seen again. No anchor. No map. No goodbye. But if you listen, when the four winds blow, you may hear my echo carried through the salt and storm not as a cry for help, but as proof that I lived, that I left, that I chose the unknown over drowning in silence.
