Celebration

He was finally a bookworm. So he'd cracked open the champagne and tasted the victory, all it had needed was consistency, with a sprinkle of meticulous attitude and the boundaries had been breached, the glass ceiling shattered - escaping the chasm of 'can't' or 'won't' which used to draw him in. But, now he had the will, the nerve, the enthusiasm: he had the gumption! Another glass of citrus bubble divine outweighing tomorrow's swallowed implications, foot-tapping along to jazzed-up songs, misty-eyed no more, alive with the yellow daffodils of spring.
