Now, Voyager

It is almost cruel


How they look at you:


Cold, indifferent,


Yet steady,


With an unblinking assurance


And stubborn perseverance.

 


She finds them lovely,


Romantic and so forth;


So how utterly lucky 


Would be the one


To hold the bouquet of those


Silent observers


With his bare hands…
